Homeschool Family Expo – SOUTH!

We are very excited to announce that we are expanding our Expos in 2024.  We are adding a Homeschool Family Expo South for March 16, 2024.

We will be located at the Sagemont Church Annex, which is right off  Beltway 8.

The Annex was the original place of the SETHSA conference back in the 90s.  So in come respects we are going back to our roots.  Ask your Mom 🙂

We hope you enjoy the convenience of having 2 free Expos in Houston in 2024.  We will have registration for the exhibitors up soon.

Registration for participants will open in January 2024.

Ed has a passion to equip, train and mentor individuals with the practical skills to impact and positively influence society.

Ed has over 40 plus years of leadership and business experience as a people manager, trainer, consultant and strategic planner for two Fortune 500 Companies. Including manager and trainer at Uni-Lever and the Coca-Cola company. Ed’s practical expertise as a behavioral, Fortune 100 manager and trainer provides the basis for this workshop.

Parents have the greatest influence in helping their child identify a clear and concise career path and to be prepared with the essential soft skills for the workplace. This workshop will touch on entrepreneurship. Identifying the characteristics of great entrepreneurs, focusing on innovation, concepts, execution, and solutions, and constructing a business plan are the elements that will prepare those who desire to achieve their own future business.

March 16, 2023 Houston, TX – THE Homeschool Family Expo is delighted to announce its annual event taking place on Saturday, March 25th, 2023, from 10A-4P at the Klein United Methodist Church located at 5920 FM 2920, Spring, TX 77388.

The expo will bring together homeschooling families and enthusiasts from all over the Greater Houston area to explore various homeschooling resources that cater to their unique needs. Attendees will have the opportunity to browse a wide selection of music, science, art, co-ops, and other homeschooling solutions such as curriculum options, outsource schooling, homeschooling for special needs students, and much more.

In addition to the various resources at the event, there will also be exciting activities for children to enjoy, including a Student Commerce Fair, a scavenger hunt with rewards at various exhibitor tables, pictures with the Star Wars characters, and a bounce house.

THE Homeschool Family Expo is open to all families interested in homeschooling, whether they are current homeschoolers, considering homeschool education, or simply curious. The expo is absolutely free, and attendees are welcome to bring friends and family. “We are thrilled to host this year’s Homeschool Family Expo,” says Michelle Cox, Director of the Expo. “Whether you’re new to homeschooling, a seasoned pro, or just exploring your options, our event will offer plenty of resources to help you make the most of your homeschooling journey.”

Michelle Cox announced as new Director of Homeschool Family Expo

November 14 2022- Houston, Texas

Texas Home Educators (THE), a statewide homeschool service organization is privileged to announce that Michelle Cox will be the director for the 11th Annual Homeschool Family Expo happening on March 25, 2023 at Klein UMC, 5920 FM 2920, Spring, TX 77388.

Michelle Cox is a 20-year veteran of homeschooling and a mother of three grown children. She has made many contributions to the homeschool community including serving as president for a local homeschool group, starting a new homeschool support group, opening/operating a homeschool bookstore (No Place like HOME), running the local homeschool chess club (Lake Houston Knights), and currently Director of The Scholars Connection.
