commerce fair

Your homeschool child, grades K-12, can put his creative juices to good use while designing his own tabletop storefront and selling items during a 2-hour-45-minute shift at his own booth. Paper airplanes, friendship bracelets, sewn handbags, homemade greeting cards, or your child’s next invention - having a table at the commerce fair is an opportunity for him to learn how to market his item, provide friendly customer service, count money and give change, and hopefully make some money for the piggy bank. We encourage our students to be creative! You can sell hugs, snapshots with your camera, temporary tattoos, jokes, etc.

Want to participate in the Commerce Fair but have nothing to sell? No problem. Show up with your babysitting, pet sitting, yard work flyers (etc.), and use your booth to simply communicate to visitors about your service. Note – Student commerce tables are for businesses and services provided by homeschool students in K-12. Space is limited so register now.

Everyone without a Commerce Fair booth is invited to come and shop, and/or participate in one of the other areas of this event. All Commerce Fair participants will receive a Young Entrepreneur’s gift bag.
